Chasing A Dream
Since grade school, Shawn knew he wanted to build a career around ATVs. While he spent years working as a boat mechanic, his evenings and weekends were dedicated to working on his own bikes and helping friends with theirs.
Stronger Together
When Shawn met Susan in 1997, it marked the beginning of more than just a partnership—it was the start of a shared vision. Susan had recently founded her own ATV parts store, and together they realized that combining Shawn's years of mechanical experience with Susan's growing retail business would allow them to offer riders something truly special.
After marrying in 1999, they joined their knowledge, skills, and passion for the ATV industry to grow Top Dog Racing into more than just a repair shop.
Growing the Family Business
As Top Dog Racing grew, so did the family. Shawn and Susan welcomed their daughter, Samantha, who was introduced to the ATV world at an early age. After years of riding and racing alongside her parents, she officially joined the family business at 15. Today, she helps manage the company's websites, ships orders worldwide, assists customers in the showroom, and plays an important role in the day-to-day operations of the business.
